A: I'm all about capturing the magic of your special day while making it stress-free for you. My shooting style is super candid and unobtrusive, so you can relax and enjoy your moments of your big day while staying out of your way.
Q: How much is the deposit to book Amanda Downie Creative?
A: To secure your booking with me, I require a 30% non-refundable deposit as a retainer. The remaining 60% will be due seven days before your wedding day.

A: I'm based in the stunning coastal town of Newcastle, NSW, but I love to travel far and wide to capture your special moments.
Q: What is the booking process for Amanda Downie Creative, and what happens after booking?
A: To book with me, simply choose the package that interests you, and reach out to me. I'll get back to you as soon as possible to help you prepare for your big day and answer any questions you may have. I'll send you a questionnaire and run sheet before your wedding day, which will give me everything I need to capture your special moments. After your wedding day, I'll deliver your photos to you within six weeks.
Q: Are there any extra costs we should know about?
A: No, my packages are all-inclusive, so you won't find any sneaky fees or GST charges. I believe in transparency, so you can rest assured that the price you see is the price you pay.

A: If you want to get in touch with me, the best way is through email or text. I'll usually respond within 24-48 hours, but if I'm having a particularly busy week, it may take me a little longer.
Q: What if we need to postpone our booking with Amanda Downie Creative?
A: I understand that life can be unpredictable, and I'm more than happy to help you postpone your booking at no extra cost. Just let me know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Meet AMANDA.
I've been a Newcastle & Hunter Valley photographer since 2014, with a strong passion for natural light portrait photography. I have so much love for what I do and I'm thankful for everyone who invites me to document their day or to be a part of their story.
My goal is throughout your entire experience working with me is to feel like a friend, I take the time to get to know you for you; so that your images are natural and authentic. With me behind the lens, there are no rules, or expectations, I simply want to capture the beautiful connection that you and your loved ones share. I focus on you, your story, and your moment in time with a few terrible jokes thrown in the mix! Throughout your entire wedding day, I am always looking for beautiful and authentic moments and all the little details that go into making your big day - so that you can re-live all these incredible moments in years to come.
I put my heart & soul into every process of your wedding right up until the moment you receive your final gallery of images. My clients can attest that I'll go to arms and lengths for them to capture every element of their day, whether it be diving knee-deep in the ocean, trudging through reeds and grass, or stopping traffic!
